A fire you can see from three sides—and warmth you can use even when it isn’t winter. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 625–1,250 sq ft • Viewing Area: Three sides—front glass 14 1/4″ × 21 1/8″, side glass 9 5/8″ × 21 1/8″ each. • Fuel: Natural gas; propane conversion kit available. • Controls: Included remote for power, heat output, and thermostat; wall-mount control optional. • Fan: Included Who It’s For Most gas stoves go quiet in April: even the low setting makes more heat than a mild evening wants, so the best-looking thing in the room sits unused half the year. You need a stove that earns its corner all twelve months , not just the cold ones. If you want a real flame in winter and a glowing ember bed with gentle warmth in spring and fall—visible from nearly every seat in the room—the Napoleon Elora is the one. Choose a standard gas stove instead and you’ll live with a fire that only makes sense from November to March. What Makes It Special The Elora heats three ways—gas, electric, or both . In January, the gas flame carries the room. On a mild evening, run the electric side alone: the LED ember bed glows and modulates while gentle electric heat takes the edge off, no burner needed. One stove covers the deep cold and the in-between months most stoves ignore. Then there’s the fire itself. Napoleon’s Luminous Logs technology means the flames rise directly from the logs , the way they do in a wood fire—not from a burner tray beneath them. Glass on three sides lets the fire read from almost anywhere in the room, and integrated side accent lighting in seven colors plus ember bed lighting keep the stove alive even with the flame off. It looks lit at 9 p.m. in July, and it looks like a wood fire at 9 p.m. in January. Possible Downsides • A log kit is a required, separate selection —choose the Luminous Oak or Luminous Birch set when you order. • Sized for one room —a large one, at approximately 625–1,250 square feet; it isn’t a whole-floor heater. • Decorative panels are optional, not included —Black Fluted or MIRRO-FLAME porcelain reflective, if you want a finished interior look. If you want a stove that works for you in April as well as January, the Elora is the right decision. The corner it stands in becomes the room everyone ends up in. The Elora can be tailored with Luminous Oak or Birch log sets, optional Black Fluted or MIRRO-FLAME porcelain reflective panels, seven included side accent light colors, and an optional wall-mount control.
