Choose a decorative fireplace and you give up real heat. What Makes It Special The cast iron front of the WFP 100 has double doors that open onto a wide view of the clean, efficient fire, in HearthStone’s largest fireplace. It is a zero-clearance fireplace built to go near combustible materials, which HearthStone says takes less space and costs less to install than a traditional masonry fireplace. It exceeds the 2020 federal clean-burning standards. Possible Downsides • It is a wood fire. You load it, tend it, and carry out the ash. If you want steady, long-lasting wood heat, the HearthStone WFP 100 is the right decision. On the coldest night, the house is warm and the fire is the reason.
