What Makes It Special The Evolve is certified for outdoor use under a protective overhang, backed by a 5-year warranty indoors and 1 year outdoors. Flame speed and color set independently or combine in one of seven presets, an ambient light sensor matches the firebox brightness to the room, and the media bed mixes acrylic crystals, tumbled glass, and driftwood logs. When you want warmth, Dimplex rates the heater to warm up to 1,000 square feet; in most rooms, expect up to 500 sq ft, depending on climate and layout.
