You need a flame with depth, not a picture of one. The Amantii Signature is for the living room or bedroom that wants the most lifelike flame Amantii offers. Choose it for the flame you watch; the heat is supplemental. What Makes It Special The Signature uses Dimplex’s patented Optimyst technology : ultrasonic mist and light create the look of flames and smoke, layered with Amantii’s electric flame. You can run the electric flame on its own, too. You adjust the flame volume, choose yellow, orange, or red flames, and set the ember-bed colors. Two speakers play a crackling-fire sound and Bluetooth plays your own music. The heater warms up to 400 square feet, and it can be wired for 240 volts for more heat. An optional plumbed water supply keeps the mist running without refilling the tank. Possible Downsides • It is supplemental heat. The heater warms the room you are in, not the whole house; the flames also run with the heat off. • It can only be built in. It is not a wall-hung or freestanding unit. • The mist needs water. Refill the tank or add the plumbed water kit. If you want an electric flame that looks like flame and smoke, the Amantii Signature is the right decision. People lean in to look, then sit down and stay. Choose the side panels (dark brown, wenge brown, used red brick, or black glass) and add the plumbed water kit if you want.
